When my 18-year-old Arabian mare, Persia, got up from rolling she was limping pretty badly. I was concerned as she has had some injuries to her in her back fetlock. I had experienced Fran’s incredible healing gifts on myself but I did not know if she worked on horses. I called Fran and sent her a picture and asked her to tune into Persia. She called back and said Persia was in a lot of pain and she needed her to come in person. Fran came right out to the barn. There was an instant mutual connection between Persia and Fran. Fran could sense the pain was coming from her ribs. She worked for about 20 minutes and then Persia walked off soundly. She had pulled a rib in trying to get up. I would not have guessed that given her history.
Fran continued to monitor Persia from a distance. Persia insisted that Fran come back and work on her friend Lilly, a Tennessee Walker, that had several traumas in the past couple of years. She was having trouble putting full weight on her back right leg among other things. Fran came out several times to help Lilly per Persia’s request. Lilly was so sensitive she would not let anyone touch her. Fran was able to connect with her and reassure her that she was there to help. Fran had to start working on Lilly 3 feet away from her body. Gradually, she was able to let Fran get all the way to her body.
Both horses have much more ease of movement in general.
